The number of measles cases are increasing accross the country.

Measels is a serious illness, with one in five children who get the disease having to be admitted for hospital treatment.

A new national NHS measels catch up campaign is being launched to contact all parents of children aged from 6 to 11 years encouraging them to make an appointment with their child's GP ptactice for any missed MMR vaccines.
