At Moorgate Nursery School we are proud to support a number of charities:
Ripple Africa
At Moorgate we are raising money for preschool children in Malawi. Ripple Africa aim to provide education and meals to 150,000 children in Africa. £1 of our money can provide that for a child for a week. This is an amazing charity that supports such amazing, happy children that have nothing compared to us. £1 is a chocolate bar that lasts 1 minute to us. £1 to those children feeds them for a full week. We also have strong links with our local community. We often go on short walks within Ormskirk and have a strong link with our local Age Uk Well Being Centre. We recently visited the day visitors at the Well Being Centre to sing nursery rhymes and play games.
