Welcome to Moorgate Nursery School. We hope that you enjoy taking a look at the information provided to keep you fully informed about our school, including our Unique Curriculum, values and ethos. 

As an excellent Lancashire Maintained Nursery School, we specialise in providing high quality early years education for children from three-years-old until they attend Primary School. Munchkins Childcare, our on-site provider, provide care for babies, two and three-year-olds. Children learn far more rapidly in their first 5 years than at any other time in their lives. It is therefore incredibly important that children access high quality experiences, opportunities and environments in order for them to succeed and grow.  

We provide both the 15 hours universal provision and 30 hour extended provision in the Nursery School (term time only) but through the onsite day care provision, Munchkins Childcare, we are also able to offer wrap around care and holiday provision (open 50 weeks of the year) to meet your family’s needs.  

Our friendly and highly experienced team (including a Head Teacher, Class Teacher and several Teaching Assistants) are dedicated to providing a warm and welcoming environment where every child and adult is valued, listened to and supported across the whole community. Working closely with families and sharing these early experiences is at the heart of everything we do. We welcome you to pop in, email or call school to find out more!
