Welcome to Moorgate Nursery School!

We are proud to be an Ofsted rated ‘GOOD’ school with ‘OUTSTANDING’ judgements in both Personal Development and Behaviour and Attitudes.

As a Maintained Nursery School (and a Nursery operating since 1946), we specialise in providing high quality early years education for children from three-years-old until Primary School. We accommodate both the 15 hours universal provision and 30 hour extended provision.

Munchkins Childcare, our on-site provider, provide care for babies and two-year-olds, and Moorgate Nursery School’s wraparound care (Breakfast, Lunch and After-School Club to ensure parents have access to longer provision days). Nursery School is term time only but through Munchkins Childcare, we offer holiday provision (open 50 weeks of the year) to meet your family’s needs. Our friendly and highly experienced team (including Head Teacher, Senior Lead Teacher and several Teaching Assistants) are dedicated to providing a warm and welcoming environment where every child and adult is valued, listened to and supported across the whole community.
