How can you get involved?
By working closely with families, we can provide the best possible start for children to thrive and develop. We operate an Open Door Policy - all parents/carers are welcome into nursery at any time of the day and appointment is not necessary (however, if you wish to speak with a particular member of the team, please arrange an appointment to ensure they have availability).
You can also get involved via:
Parent/Carer Meetings – Termly meetings will be arranged between the parents and the class teacher. This is an opportunity to find out how your child is getting on at nursery and ask any questions.
Parent App - We use t Parent App Connect to keep parents and carers informed of important information, news and events.
Learning Journals/Class Dojo - Parents and carers are more than welcome to request their child's special Learning Journal (of physical evidence) at any point during the school year. All parents/carers are also invited to join Class Dojo to receive updates about their child’s learning.
Volunteering - If you would like to volunteer, please get in touch - we regularly ask parents/carers/members of the community to come and support our curriculum or to lend a helping hand at events such as the Summer Fair or Christmas Nativity.
All volunteers and students will be inducted into Nursery School and given our induction pack that will provide more information on:
- Nursery and Munchkins Childcare
- The support you can expect as a volunteer or student
- Information on child protection, health and safety and other relevant policies
