Moorgate is an inclusive school and we pride ourselves on this; we welcome all children and families regardless of race, culture, religion, disability, gender identity and family diversity. We celebrate diversity and embrace the positive impact that a diverse community has on our pupils.
We are currently completing the process to achieve the Lancashire Quality Mark Award for Equality and Diversity. Please see the Equality objectives and policies below for more information on how we promote diversity within our Nursery School. We currently hold quality mark badges for Disability, Religion and Race.
For further information regarding how we support Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities children at Moorgate (and SEND policies), please see the 'SEND' tab.

As part of our diverse curriculum, we are linking with 8 partner schools in Africa through the Ripple Africa Project. The Ripple Africa charity supports children and schools in Malawi. Please take a look at this video which shows the children playing with number cards that we made for them.
We are also in the process of forming a link with a diverse Nursery School in Nelson, Bradley Nursery School, to help teach our children about the many heritages and cultures in modern-day Britain.
